Students can begin class at 15 years of age. We can help your student get a permit if they do not have one or if they are under the age of 15 1/2. Anyone under the age of 18 is required to complete driver education and have a permit for no less than six months. By beginning driver ed as early as possible, your student will have more time to become a safer, skilled driver.

  • AAA How to Drive Premium

    • Driver's training class (three sessions a week for five weeks)
    • Six 1-hour behind-the-wheel lessons
    • Six 1-hour in-car observation lessons
    • Two attempts at the state knowledge exam
    • One attempt at the state skills test

MANDATORY PARENT ORIENTATION

A parent or legal guardian is required to attend a parent orientation to secure a student's seat in the class. Any student under the age of 18 years old will not be allowed to attend classes until a parent or legal guardian has attended a parent orientation.
